Not to worry Sigma, I’m quite sure that Google isn’t that fragile to be broken by a non entity like me
I guess the keywords must not be that common and I must be one the few sites that have such a density of it – not to mention the content (completely unintentionally too).
This is sooo awesome!
I guess you are the foremost documenter of Sri Lankan vehicle graphics out there! Congratulations!
I agree with Chavie, this particular aspect of Sri Lankan popular art needed a champion and I think you have just had greatness thrust upon you!
When I was growing upt these trucks used to be my favourite things on the road. And I still look forward to seeing them each time I visit. The lettering in the 80′s was predominantly Sinhala, now it seems to be 50-50, but the lettering styles haven’t changed much. Really like the Flickr photo set by the way.
Chavie: Didn’t think I was (though the all mighty G thinks so)
Odd though, I’ve seen plenty of other people who have taken picks of SL graphics. I guess I just have a greater density of them…
chamira:
Never though of it in terms of greatness and championness! Thank you for the the compliment and happy you liked the flickr set – high time I updated it. If you got any pics from the 80s please put them up. I’d love to see a few..
