School drop off music

These days I drop the offspring units at their schools. It’s a consequence of my new schedule. Though I would rather like to brag that my secret short cut skills had something to do with it. To keep the critters quiet, I’ve devised a play list that’s off the main stream road. Here’s a sample:

A rare single take recording of the late Kamancheh maestro Sakar Khan.

A sampler of traditional music and throat singing of Tuva.

Some Bengali Baul songs (good for mellowing out fussy moods of critters who wake up grumpy)

THE Daddy classic

For the season, I’m added some thing papare-ish

Later on I’ll bring in some DakhaBrakha (avant-garde Ukrainian folk music)

Not the standard stuff most children hear on their way to school I’m sure.
