Dear Cerno (?),
I am the founding editor of a small reggae/world beat magazine called The Beat, out of L.A. Every year in May we do an annual Bob Marley issue. One of its most popular features is a Marley Scrapbook often unusual places where Bob’s image has been spotted. Such a one is the second picture on your recent Sri Lanka Taxis/Marley posting. Would it be permitted, please, to use that image in our May issue. We are an all-volunteer publication, and no one gets paid, but I would be happy to credit you or anything else you may suggest.
Thanks and
One Love,
Roger

roger: I’d be honoured π if that picture ends up in the Marley Scrapbook π I can email you a higher resolution image without all the water marking on it if you’d like.
As for credit all you would have to do is put the URL of this blog https://cerno.wordpress.com
You don’t have to add the link to the blog post with the image as it is a bit long:
https://cerno.wordpress.com/2008/02/27/bob-marley-taxi-colombo-sri-lanka/
I’ll leave that up to you incase you want to refer readers to some “context”.
Also feel free to use the text of the Bob Marley post if you want (if its helpful to you π
